English: The Ottoman War Medal (Officers), WW1 Also known as the Turkish Gallipoli Star silver and red enamel; crescent inside star encircling the tughra (cypher) of Sultan Mehmed Reshad V and characters representing El Ghazi (The Victorious) below is date 333 in Turkish figures (1915); brooch fastening markings- maker's initials on reverse- B.B. and Co Binder Brüder and Co., Lüdenscheid, but possibly also operating in Constantinople.
