Notes | New Zealand Medal, New Zealand Wars (1860-1872) undated Medal awarded to Captain Walter John Morrison, Taranaki Militia. Walter Morrison (born 1830Great Nash, Pembroke), was appointed to the rank of Captain, Taranaki Militia, on 4th December 1862. He had also served with No 5 Coy. Taranaki Military Settlers. He saw action at Mahoetahi on 6-11-1860.
