Description
English: May Day Rock, Lustleigh In Town Orchard. Inscribed on the rock are the names of the May Queens crowned each May Day since 1954. Between 1905 (when the tradition was revived by Cecil Torr) and 1953, the ceremony was held at another rock above Wreyland. The throne dates from 2000, when it was cut from Blackingstone Quarry.
