Description

Photograph showing the assembly of a turbine rotor. Each of the blades were cut to length by hand and there were over 3 million blades in “Mauretania’s” turbines. RMS MAURETANIA was one of the most famous ships ever built on Tyneside. Manufactured by Wallsend Slipway & Engineering Co. Ltd.
