English: Stridulating single male of Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa at night in a gravel pit in northern Germany. In the background, you can hear calling males of different amphibians, e.g. Hyla arborea, Pelobates fuscus, Pelophylax esculentus and — just beside — some toads (Epidalea calamita).
Deutsch: Einzelnes stridulierendes Männchen der Maulwurfsgrille (Gryllotalpa gryllotalpa) nachts in einer Kiesgrube im Landkreis Uelzen (Niedersachsen). Im Hintergrund hört man verschiedene Rufe von Amphibien, darunter Laubfrosch, Knoblauchkröte und Teichfrosch; auch Kreuzkröten waren unmittelbar daneben anwesend. In Deutschland gilt die Maulwurfsgrille als "stark gefährdet", in Niedersachsen als extrem selten und "vom Aussterben bedroht". |
