Summary
[edit]DescriptionMarylebone 4 railway station 2028196.jpg |
English: Marylebone Station, concourse. View towards the platforms, also to the entrance to the Underground (Bakerloo Line) station. Marylebone had been the London terminus of the Great Central main line from Sheffield, Nottingham and Leicester, also suburban services from High Wycombe, Aylesbury etc., but 40 years ago when this photograph was taken, it was one of the quietist London termini, as revealed by the lack of people to be seen. |
