Latina: Beati Angeli, Confessoris. Huius tanti viri elogium refert Gonzaga 2. part. sup. in Conventu sancti Spiritus Foinizensi, qui est 3. Provinc. Bosnae Argentinae: his verbis Inter caetera, quae hanc sacram domum fidelibus commendatissimam reddunt, sunt corpus Beati cuiusdam Patris Angeli, sanctissimi utique viri: qui ut Christianos, in primaeva illa Turcarum persecutione, in fide Catholica contineret, nulli periculo pepercit. Quod cum post plurimos annos ab eius tumulatione integrum omnino ac incorruptum inventum esset, a Fratribus inde exhumatum, honestiori loco reconditum est: ubi et Deus plura Foinizanis beneficia meritis eiusdem Beati Patris conferre dignatur. Deutsch: [7. Juni, Gedächtnis] des seligen Bekenners Angelus. Das Lob dieses bedeutenden Mannes berichtet Gonzaga [...] mit diesen Worten: Zu den Dingen, die dieses heilige Haus [das Kloster Fojnica] den Gläubigen wert machen, gehört der Leib eines seligen Paters Angelus, eines überaus heiligen Mannes: Um die Christen in jener Anfangszeit der Verfolgung durch die Türken beim katholischen Glauben zu halten, scheute er keine Gefahr. Als sein Leib viele Jahre nach seiner Beisetzung völlig unversehrt und unverwest vorgefunden wurde, wurde er deswegen von den Brüdern aus dem Grab gehoben und an einem ehrenvolleren Ort geborgen. Und Gott gewährt dort den Fojnicanern viele Wohltaten durch die Verdienste dieses seligen Paters. Er starb im Jahr 1498. [...]
