Description

Maroc, 1960, Casablanca, 8 septembre De droite à gauche : Devant : Jean-Louis Debout : Tamo, Jeanne, Julienne, la vieille marraine de Jeanne, Etienne, son frère et son fils André Chez Etienne Menjoulet et sa femme, rue du capitaine Thiriat, Casa.

La vieille marraine est morte quelques mois plus tard. Elle vivait chez les Menjoulet depuis plus de 10 ans. Elle avait été amenée au Maroc par Jeanne lors de son mariage avec Étienne, un peu avant 1950. La vieille marraine était originaire de Barbaste, et elle aurait été condamnée à l'hospice sinon. Elle n'avait plus aucune dent, et mâchait la viande avec ses gencives après l'avoir coupée en tout petits morceaux. La vieille dame avait coutume de dire à la fin de chaque repas "un de plus et un de moinss !", prononcé avec l'accent du Sud-Ouest, et avec le "s" phonétique
