English: A landing craft air cushion, operated by sailors from the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit Amphibious Ready Group, heads to the water after picking up an Abrams M1A1 tank here March 20. The 11th MEU brought a handful of tanks onto land for repairs, and then readied the machines for redeployment back to USS Makin Island. Third Army soldiers assisted the 11th MEU by providing parts and assistance when needed. |
