English: Lance Cpl. Christopher Duffy holds a practice pad while Lance Cpl. Raymond Clark executes a baton strike during a self-defense training drill at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C, March 6, 2015. The Marines are training to be guards with the Provost Marshal’s Office on the air station. Marines with the Provost Marshals Office must complete the obstacle course while under the effects of Oleoresin Capsicum spray, a potent pepper spray-like chemical in order to pass the exercise. Duffy is a native of Ashlyn, Ohio and Clark is a native of Birmingham, Ala., both students with PMO. |
