Milliron, landing support specialist, Landing Support Company, Combat Logistics Regiment 17, 1st Marine Logistics Group, 20, Luxor, Penn., looks at the explosive ordnance disposal bomb suit during the mandatory first-term alignment plan brief at the base theater April 10 for Marines who will reach their end of active service dates in fiscal year 2010. The FTAP speakers provided information on re-enlistment options and the benefits of staying in. They also shared the programs, services and assistance that are offered to the Marines who are preparing to transition out of the military. Recruiters for Marine Corps Special Operations Command, explosive ordnance disposal and special duties from recruiting duty to drill instructor duty, were present to speak to service members about re-enlisting into different military career fields. Marine Corps Community Services personnel spoke to Marines about taking the end of active service path and civilian life. They provided information on education, searching for jobs and benefits the military can provide after separation. |
