Română: Monument arhitectural unic în România, Moscheea Carol I a fost inaugurată la 31 mai 1913 în prezenţa Regelui Carol I si a reginei Elisabeta. Familia regală a dăruit edificiul musulmanilor de la malul Mării Negre pentru a le răsplăti loialitatea faţă de statul român. Moscheea Carol I este prima construcţie din beton armat construită în România după planurile inginerului Gogu Constantinescu şi sub îndrumarea arhitectului Victor Ştefănescu. Stilul folosit de artizani îmbină elementele egiptene cu cele bizantine, dar si cu ornamente româneşti care dau unicitate impunătorului edificiu.
