Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In the southern part of the Rural Community of Gandon there are spaces, made up of “Dieri” soil. ". The “Dieri” corresponds to exposed lands, with a sandy to sandy-silty texture, part of which is of the sandy-clay type (Dèk-dior) conducive to the formation of ponds. These are temporary and can last up to three months after the rainy season. This area is mainly dedicated to livestock, the practice of which is punctuated by transhumance and / or pastoral nomadism marked by the search for natural pastures for livestock feed and water points to water them. It is in this spirit that the locations of temporary ponds have been identified to allow herders to lead their herds to these strategic points during the wintering season.
