Mardi Gras day in the French Quarter, New Orleans.

I was astonished to see a krewe inspired by My Little Pony — including our neighbor Margaret. Persephone was of course delighted as well. I demanded Catherine take a picture, and this is it. Apparently, though, this wasn't even the full complement of ponies. Also, for the record, if you haven't seen My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, you need to see it now. It's strangely compelling, even if you are not a little girl.
