Polski: Obraz "Popiersie kobiety (1944)" oparty jest na stosunkowo nowej dla Marcina Maciejowskiego autoreferencyjnej grze z widzem. Przedstawia on bowiem widza oglądającego i powielającego na swoim smartfonie, tytułowy obraz Picassa, znajdujący się na ścianie w Muzeum. Widz powtarza w pewnym sensie gest Maciejowskiego, który również zawłaszcza w ramach własnego przedstawienia obraz Picassa. Artysta składa w ten sposób hołd jednemu ze swoich ulubionych malarzy, ale jednocześnie komentuje nasz zapośredniczony przez media kontakt z rzeczywistością. Pokazuje współczesne doświadczenie malarstwa, przefiltrowanego zarówno na poziomie tworzenia jak i odbioru, przez fotografię cyfrową. Malarstwa, które trudno już odseparować od naszego "banalnego" zanurzenia w opartej na zwielokrotnieniu obrazu - internetowej komunikacji wizualnej. |
