Marasmius albogriseus (Peck) Singer Image location: Crescenta Valley Community Regional Park, La Crescenta, California, USA This was one of the few species fruiting after over a week of cold (regular morning frost), wet weather. It was fruiting in greater abundance in the wetter areas than I had seen before. However, it was not fruiting (yet?) in some of the drier areas. Recognized by sight: Color, stature and growth habit all match my concept of this species.
