Description
English: Shows the Mississippi River from Cape Giradeau to the delta. Relief shown by rock drawings; depths shown by contours and soundings. LC Civil War maps (2nd ed.), S185, 14.4 On cover on verso: No. 110-Q. Mississippi alluvial region, 1861. Signed on verso: Millard Fillmore, Nov. 17, 1869. Sectioned in 16 and mounted on cloth. Includes notes. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image.
