English: Manulla Junction railway station, County Mayo, 2010 Opened in 1868 by the Great North & Western Railway, later part of the Midland Great Western Railway, on the line from Athlone to Westport Quay, the station closed in 1963. It reopened in 1988. View northwest towards Westport, also Ballina. The single platform exists purely for interchange between the main Westport line and the branch to/from Ballina, although in earlier days there used to also be a platform to the left. |
