Français : Le Manoir Boréal en août 1939, peu de temps après sa construction « Sur le territoire de la Municipalité Saint-Charles-de-Bourget, à Val-Menaud, se trouvait le Manoir Boréal, bâti par l'avocat Georges Larouche au milieu des années 30. Le bâtiment a eu plusieurs vocations avant d'être détruit dans un incendie en juin 1965. Il a fait office d'hôtel, de centre d'art et a accueilli les grands de la chanson et de la poésie québécoise. Félix Leclerc est un habitué de l'endroit et donne même son nom à la baie avoisinante. » |
