supply Moldine as a part of the outfit because it packs down hard withoutrebound. The Swager is substantially made, of steel, hardened where hardening is needed. The cups,of which there are two, are perforated at the base, so that when inverted over the impressionthe inlay can be poured through the perforation to form the die. So formed there is lesslikelihood of its being distorted in the swaging process. The complete outfit consists of— DENTAL LAC for taking impressions; CELLULOID STRIPS for inclosing the space of which the impression is to be taken; MOLDINE for investing the impression and for packing the swager; INLAY METAL for making models or dies; POURING LADLE for melting and pouring the inlay metal; DENTAL SWAGER for swaging matrices, cusps, crowns, and backings; RUBBER DISKS for preventing the adhesion of Moldine to the matrix.
