M. anisophylla thrives in rocky conditions along riverbanks. Sympatric speciation with M. grahanii

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Manihot anisophylla is a small shrub (for Manihot standards) that grows betwen rocks. M. grahanii is also endemic in the area but grows in better soil conditions. This is a good example of symptatric speciation. Both species could be a source of tolerance to low temperature. Freezing conditions happen every year in this region.
