Description Übungsmunition der deutschen Bundeswehr, Aufschrift 7.62x51 MEN-79-9 zur Verwendung mit dem Manöverpatronengerät im MG3. Die Messingübungsmunition wird aus Kostengründen in der Regel nicht für das G3 ausgegeben, sondern nur für das MG3. Dort sind die Kunststoff Manöverpatronen nicht verwendbar, weil sie sich durch die größere thermische und meachanische Belastung zu stark verformen.
