Summary
[edit]DescriptionMaltings Lane, Clare - geograph.org.uk - 390211.jpg |
English: Maltings Lane, Clare At the far end of Maltings Lane is the old mill. Now called The Antiques Warehouse, all 3 floors are populated by around 80 stalls run by local antique dealers. The white building to the right shows a fine example of Pargeting, exterior plaster decoration which was very popular with rich Suffolk and Essex wool merchants in the 17th and 18th centuries. |
