Description
日本語: マルタ共和国カルカラの英国海軍墓地（現英連邦墓地）にある、修復直後の日本海軍第二特務艦隊戦没者の墓。碑文には「大日本帝国第二特務艦隊戦死者之墓」とある。 慰霊碑は、ja:第二次世界大戦時のja:ドイツ軍によるマルタ包囲作戦で爆撃を受け、上4分の1が欠けてしまった。長らくその状態で荒れていたが、1974年日本政府は新しく慰霊碑を作り直して復元し、海上自衛隊練習艦隊が慰霊祭を行なった。2002年に再度戦没者名プレートなどの修復が行なわれている。その後も海上自衛隊が練習艦隊を欧州に派遣した時は慰霊祭が開催されており、最近では2005年に行なわれている。
English: The Japanese Naval grave for the First World War in the former British Naval cemetery in Malta. During the World War II, the grave was broken by German bombing. In 1974, Japanese goverment restored the grave. In addtion, it renewed in 2002.
