Summary
[edit]DescriptionMake-do Sea Defences - geograph.org.uk - 253649.jpg |
English: Make-do Sea Defences Broken paving stones have been dumped on the landward side to protect the low clay cliffs from erosion. When the tide is out, and the sea 2 to 3 kilometres away, it's hard to imagine the waves crashing against the coastline. But the scattered paving stones suggest that they can and do. |
