English: Major General Charles Maynard (British Army) with White Russian commander General "Eugene K de Milar" in 1919. "Eugene" is most likely Evgeny Miller (an archivist probably misread the "v" as a "u" to produce a name they recognised from their English point of reference. The ending in "e" instead of "y" probably stems from choice of transliteration from Cyrillic to Latin script). Depicted people: Charles Maynard and Yevgeny Miller
