Description
English: Armoured vehicles roll into Copehill Down, to provide cover as part of Exercise Lion Strike. The exercise was designed to test Majors from all trades across the Army, in Command and Control scenarios.

Assisting in the exercise were 4 RIFLES from 1 Armoured Infantry Brigade, 1 YORKS, and The King's Royal Hussars in Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks, from 12 Armoured infantry Brigade.

Copehill Down is a UK Ministry of Defence training facility located on Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, England. It is a 'FIBUA' (Fighting In Built Up Areas) urban warfare and Close quarters battle training centre where exercises and tests are conducted.
