Description
Deutsch: Maisach, Kirchenstr. 12, St. Vitus: Deckenmedaillon im Altarraum.

Unter dem Text „Hoffnung virsichtigkeit Der Engel Füehret Vitum weit mit Modesto übers Meer Zu haben alda die Sicherheit von aller falscher Lehr.“

Der Legende nach flüchteten Vitus, Crescentia und Modestus übereilt und ohne größere Lebensmittelvorräte mit einem Schiff nach Lukanien. Eigenartigerweise zeigen hier aber weder das Medaillon noch der zugehörige Text, dass auch Crescentia mit geflüchtet war.
