Summary
[edit]DescriptionMainz And Part Of Port From The South.jpg |
English: The city of Mainz, Germany sometime in the late 19th century. Visible is the Südbruecke (southern railway bridge) over the Rhine, and parts of the city's port, looking north down the river.
Deutsch: Mainz von Süden gesehen; spätes 19. Jahrhundert. |
Date | Unknown date. Late 19th century based on railway engine and ship forms, as well as style of art (later postcards used photography) and the fact that the "Winterhafen" (winter port, shown) was constructed in 1865, but the Theodor-Heuss-Bridge from 1885 is still missing. |

This image may not be in the public domain in these countries, which moreover do not implement the rule of the shorter term. Honduras has a general copyright term of 75 years, but it does implement the rule of the shorter term. Copyright may extend on works created by French who died for France in World War II (more information), Russians who served in the Eastern Front of World War II (known as the Great Patriotic War in Russia) and posthumously rehabilitated victims of Soviet repressions (more information).
