Description
English: AKBAR FORT Akbar fort also known as Ajmer fort, Akbari Quila or Akbar's palace. Situated in Ajmer, Rajasthan. Was constructed in 1570. It was once the residence of prince Salim, the son of Emperor Akbar, this is the place from where Salim, as the Emperor Jahangir read out the Farhan permitting the British East India company to trade with India. Presently it is a museum with a collection of paintings, armor and sculpture of Mughal and Rajput. The fort is also known as the masterpiece because of its magnificent architecture.
