This was part of a fund-raising function for the Wounded Soldiers Fund. "Brilliant termination of the Auckland Queen Carnival events, as a result of which over £300,000 has been placed to the credit of the Provincial Wounded Soldiers' Fund- The Children's Floral Fete last Friday at the Domain which proved one of the most successful functions of the Carnival" |
