Title

Madrona Park, ca. 1910

Description

The land containing Madrona Park was first platted in 1889 and the park and cable car lines were added to attract residents. In 1892, the park was further developed to include a hotel, boathouse and concession stands. The City of Seattle purchased the park in 1908.
