English: Aaron Tersteeg is Software Developer Program Manager at Intel’s Software and Services Group. He joined an earlier, small-scale Mac pilot program in 2006. Since then, he says he has moved on to his third MacBook, upgrading from a Core Duo system to a Core 2 Duo to a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard OS with an Intel Core i5 processor and Solid State Drive (SSD).
“Today I use native mail, calendaring, contacts and document creation tools,” said Tersteeg. “The current version of Microsoft Office for Mac works seamlessly with our infrastructure and we only need to fire up Windows in a Virtual Machine for a few legacy Web apps and Live Meeting.” Intel Free Press story: Bring Your Own Mac' program provides new insight, learning for IT. |
