Printer | Originally the "Coconut-issues" of the Malay States were printed at "Thomas De La Rue and Company Limited, London". However, the printery building of "De La Rue" in London was 1940 at a German attack complet destroyed, so that the production of further issues of the "Coconut issues" for the Malay states were outsourced to "Harrisons and Sons" (most issues) or other British printeries. The typeface of "JOHORE" and special the there "J" (as letterpress) were definitively not printed by De La Rue. |
