Hang on she has a habit of turning with speed, last week the little dog rolled right out the window and into the ditch... This is the bakery, it used to be in town at the far end of the harbour lucky for us it moved. The Pulled Pork Sandwich is to die for and the cinnamon knots... undescribable! The coffee sux and is horribly overpriced, (welcome to the first obstacle in the tourist trap known as Tobermory), actually everything is over priced, well and soundly overpriced. But you must understand most of the people who actually live here only have the tourist season, a mere eight weeks, to make their living. At that almost all of them have to draw on Social Assistance to ride out the whole year... Seasonal Employment, what a scam, you're taxed at the rate of a full-time employee, while only being employed for the tourist season. The Gov't then subtracts the net earnings from your benifits and taxes you again on the benifits recieved... where I come from that's called double-dipping! We turn left here, hang on you won't be used to this as we are turning left from the far right side of the road :) |
