Description
English: MISSE PEC1 Tray 2a
  • Astronaut Daniel W. Bursch, Expedition Four flight engineer, participates in the five-hour, 47-minute space walk on February 20, 2002. He moves among the oxygen and nitrogen tanks on the exterior of Quest Airlock. The square device (left) on the Space Station Remote Manipulator System (SSRMS) or Canadarm2 is the Materials International Space Station Experiment (MISSE). The image was recorded with a digital still camera.
