Summary
[edit]| Description | Marchants Coaches of Cheltenham never operated many Leyands as they preferred AEC and then Volvo, but this Plaxton Paramount 3500 bodied Tiger was fitted with a cummins 10.5 litre engine and 6 speed manual box and was quite a good preformer. This was my allicated coach at Marchants and it had been purchased from Swanbrook at Staverton. But was in fact new to Peter Sheffield of Cleethorpes and was one of a pair. I took this photo whilst on tour in Cornwall on a very misty day at Lands End. |
