| Description |
English: A drawing of "the old creamery building" which once occupied the site of the apiary as it appeared in 1891. Although it is labeled as the "Wanderer's Home" in the 1892 college yearbook, photos of the creamery match this structure by the number of floors, windows, general shape, the fence and the hedge growing adjacent to the road. See this early campus photo for comparison. The original drawing also seems to indicate that (at least) students referred to present day Clark Hill road as "Cannon Avenue", which appears to be a dirt path at the time. Further research may need to be done to confirm this. |
