English: The Mérode Altarpiece (or Annunciation Triptych) is an oil on oak panel triptych attributed to the workshop of the Early Netherlandish painter Robert Campin. For a period in the late 19th century Roger van der Weyden was attributed, or at least an artist familiar with the outline of Liège, in today's Belgium. It is housed at The Cloisters, in New York. |
