Description
English: Luxembourg City: entrance of Halle Victor-Hugo with a plaque commemorating the forced conscription of the young Luxembourgish men into the German Wehrmacht. The announcement of the conscription was made on August 30 in this building by the gauleiter Gustav SSimon (1900-1945). The plaque was inaugurated on August 30 2012.
Français : Luxembourg-ville, Limpertsberg : Plaque à l'entrée de la halle Victor-Hugo commémorant l'enrôlement de force dans la Wehrmacht allemande des jeunes Luxembourgeois en 1942. Le décret de l'enrôlement de force fut annoncé le 30 août 1942 par le Gauleiter Gustav Simon (1900-1945) dans la halle de ce bâtiment. La plaque fut inaugurée le 30 août 2012.
English: Victor-Hugo--Hal um Lampertsbierg an der Stad Lëtzebuerg: Entrée vum Genai mat der Plack déi un d'Zwangsrekrutéierung vun de jonke Lëtzebuerger an d'Wehrmacht erënnert. D'Zwangsrekrutéierung gouf an dëser Hal den 30. August 1942 vum Gauleiter Gustav Simon (1900-1945) annoncéiert. D'Plack gouf den 30. August 2012 ëffentlech ageweit.
