| Description |
English: Luichart Dam. The enlarged Loch Luichart is a familiar sight to travellers on the railway and road through Strath Bran. The dam, which raised the level of the loch by 12m is not so well visited, hidden away in Strathconon above the now dryish Falls of Conon. This is part of a vast hydroelectric scheme, bringing in water from as far away as Gleann Beag, north of the Inverlael Beinn Dearg. |
