Description

Looking south to Lower Manhattan from the observation deck of the Empire State Building in 1965. The Flatiron Building is in the foreground, at the intersection of Fifth Avenue (off to the right), Broadway (to the left) and 23rd Street.

You can see the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge, from Brooklyn (left) to Staten Island, in the background.
