Summary
[edit]DescriptionLower Jerry Run Natural Area (13) (18128355659).jpg | Mature second-growth Eastern White Pine near the headwaters of Lower Jerry Run (east fork), Cameron County, within the Lower Jerry Run Natural Area of Elk State Forest. Thick low branches indicate an open-grown start to its life, only later shaded out. Young trees in background slender, with small low branches, will eventually develop into trees with natural old-growth characteristics in centuries to come. |
