Low water at Greencastle

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Low water at Greencastle. Greencastle is a small settlement on the Co Down side of Carlingford Lough. At low water there is a pleasant walk along the shore but at high water the rocks become islands. It is not a well-known place and is mainly visited by sea anglers. The boat at the top right is the “Slieve Ban” a tender used in the maintenance of the buoys marking the navigable channel in Carlingford Lough. The Mournes are visible in the distance.
