This work was inspired byn Janusz Korczak's short story "Love". In the story a young guy who works in garments and ties store as a salesperson meets a woman and falls in love with her. They get marries and he adopts her young brother and sister and takes a good care of them. He quits and develops his own business and feels happy. One day they walk together in the street and he sees his former store owner who is very reach person. He realized that he is happier than the reach person due to the love he possesses and shouts with happiness. Korszak and the children of his orphanage house were taken to Treblinka and murdered. The work appears on first look as colorful city scene with ties and buttons and a wedding veil. On a closer look the viewer reveals the story of Treblinka as he sees the memorial, names of communities and countries where Jews were sent from to be decimated and the children's journey from Warsaw Ghetto to the small Treblinka station where all of them were murdered. The work includes an original tie and buttons of Misha Wasserman, a teacher at ther orphanage who went that morning to obtain food and found on his return that all were taken to their death. 78x112 cm Ties, Tull, buttons, beads.עברית: עזה כמוות אהבה" -רחלי רוגל 2023"
היצירה היא בהשראת הסיפור "אהבה" של יאנוש קורצ'אק. צעיר שעובד במכירות ביגוד מכיר צעירה תופרת עניבות ומתאהב בה, הם מתחתנים והוא פותח עסק שלו ומטפל בשני אחיה הצעירים היתומים. הוא שמח בחלקו וביום אחד הם מטיילים ברחוב ורואים כרכרה עם בעל העסק הקודם וכלבו, והוא מבין שהוא מאוהב. למראית עין היצירה צבעונית ועליזה, וכוללת עניבות כפתורים חררוזים וצעיף כלה משולבים בנוף עירוני ורחוב בו נוסעת הכרכרה. במבט מקרוב מתגלה בית היתומים והרכבת מגטו ורשה לתחנת טרבלינקה.. כשם שירו של ולדיסלב שלנגל "התחנה הקטנה טרבלינקה" , לחן וביצוע יהודה פוליקר. וְהַתַּחֲנָה הִיא קְטַנְטֹנֶת שְׁלוֹשָׁה אֲשׁוּחִים גְּדֵלִים בָּהּ וּכְתֹבֶת רְגִילָה אוֹמֶרֶת: כָּאן הַתַּחֲנָה טְרַבְּלִינְקָה כָּאן הַתַּחֲנָה טְרַבְּלִינְקָה.
