In May 2009 Metro tested these on routes 255 and 358. Specifically: "In May, 2009 Metro tested a new support arm on the VeloPorter 3 bus bike racks on Routes 255 and 358. Based on the results of a survey distributed to customers and bus operators, Metro is in the process of working with Sportworks to get three-position racks delivered for coaches at all of the bases. Coaches serving the SR-520 corridor will be the first priority for this retrofit." Seen outside one of Metro's warehouses in Sodo. |
