Description Ravana, King of Lanka was a great devotee of Mahadev. Murudeshwar is ine of the 5 temples built at those 5 places where pieces of Atma-Linga destroyed by Ravana fell. The whole story js depicted in form of sculptures below this Shiva Idol at Murudeshwar.
