English: Lord Mackintosh toby jug potted by Leonard Jarvis 1953 in glazes reminiscent of Ralph Wood. Approx 20.5cm high. Inscribed: The Rt Hon Lord Mackintosh of Halifax D.L. LL.D., J.P. 1953 signed L. Jarvis on the rt hand coat pocket. Numbered under the handle 17
Leonard Jarvis was also responsible for the Winston Churchill Tobies, limited editions in four colourways
