| Description |
This tree is something of a landmark, located close to Pebble Beach Golf Links which in turn is near Monterey, California. It's said that it's one of the most photographed trees in USA and certainly I was aware of it before visiting from the UK. It's a well-marked stopping point on the "17 Mile Drive" which is a scenic route along the coastline of the Monterey Peninsula. The tree is a Monterey Cypress, which can only be found in this area. |
