Nederlands: Consolidated B-24 Liberator in het RAF Museum, Hendon, London.De B-24 werd veel gebruikt in de Tweede Wereldoorlog waar hij in elke tak van de Amerikaanse strijdkrachten diende, evenals in verschillende geallieerde luchtmachten en marines. Hij werd in elk inzetgebied gebruikt. De B-17 en de B-24 waren de ruggegraat van de Amerikaanse strategische bombardementen in West-Europa.
English: Consolidated B-24 Liberator at the RAF Museum, Hendon, London.The B-24 was used extensively in World War II where it served in every branch of the American armed forces, as well as several Allied air forces and navies. It saw use in every theater of operations. Along with the B-17, the B-24 was the mainstay of the US strategic bombing campaign in the Western European theater.
